Q1: Can a user participate in more than one company?
Answer: Yes. dPCloud has support to multi-tenant. It means you may be the owner of your own company, and be invited to collaborate in how many other companies you need, having different roles, and consequently access rights, for each company.
Q2: Its dPCloud a time tracking tool?
A: Yes, dPCloud is an excellent tool for time tracking, making it possible that every activity performed by teams members to be logged into. The versatility to register logs in projects, planned tasks or operational tickets makes it feasible, being especially useful for companies that invoicing based on worked hours.
Q3: It is easy to build Gantt chats online with dPCloud?
Answer: Yes, once you have a project initiated, each created task is automatically displayed in an online and interactive Gannt hart, which shows all projects activities along with its status and personal allocation. The Gannt chart and easy be copied and pasted to external text editor as it was fully build based on HTML5.
Q4: If I invite customers, will they have access to sensitive project data?
Answer: No. A customer may only create new Tickets and interact in the context of these tickets. Even the logged efforts by team members in ticket resolution are just internally available, not being released to customers.
Q5: Team members have access to company and project sensitive information, such as planned costs, contracts, invoices, etc?
Answer: No. Team members have very restricted access to just project tasks and its tickets. The Project and Company data are not available to them. Project data is available only to the team member assigned as project manager, and company data (which include projects) for company owners.
Q6: Along the time many important information will be registered in company and projects. Can I have a local copy of my company data?
Answer: Yes, you may at any time download company and project records in open csv format.
Q7: I created my account a few months ago and now I forget my password and cannot access dPCloud anymore. What should I do?
Answer: Just click in "forget password" on the login screen and a new password will be sent do your email.
Q8. I was invited to a new company, but I cannot see its projects. What should I do?
Answer: There are two possibilities, you need to switch from your current company to the new you were invited, using “my profile” link in upper menu. In case, after in the context of the right company, you still do not see projects, maybe the project manager has not assigned any project activity to you yet.
Q9. What are the management frameworks which dPCloud is based on?
Answer: For enterprise Governance practices from COBIT 5 are adopted - especially in relation to Strategic Plan development and management. For Operations Management ITIL 4 framework processes are adopted - specifically in relation to service portfolio, incident and problem management. And for Project Management, the PMBOK is adopted covering its several knowledges’ areas, going beyond triple restriction from scope, time, cost and quality, addressing also stakeholders, communications, risks and procurements.
Q10. Can dPCloud assists PMO (Project Management Officers)?
Answer: Yes, a company may be seen as a PMO, and its members assigned as company owners. This way, they can manage the company project portfolio, assign project managers to projects, or if necessary, manage projects directly.
Q11. Can I really use dPCloud for ITSM?
Answer: Yes, both customers and team members can open new tickets and document the problem and its resolution, for incidents or new requests. SLAs may also be configured and managed. There are automatic notifications for assignments and SLA controlling. The dPCloud support to ITSM is very basic but may attend many trivial contexts.
Q12. What are the limitations from Freemium access?
Answer: The Freemium account already provides a wide spectrum from functionalities for governance and management, assisting in the real controlling. It faces limitations regarding the maximum users and projects that can be associated to a company. Also, data exportation is limited and advanced reports and possible integrations are not fully available in Freemium access.
